8/31/2026 0 Comments Goodbye August & Important UpdateSummer is fading with a change in the air. While I’ll definitely miss the warm weather, I’m looking forward to slowing down, getting out the cosy blankets, and pulling on my favourite woolies!
UPCOMING HOLIDAY 18TH-28TH SEPTEMBER We’re heading back to the Lake District for a relaxing, dog-friendly break. Right after my break, I’ll be running the Linlithgow 10k! I loved it last year and can’t wait to do it again—even if training has been a bit of a challenge lately due to some minor health hiccups (more on that below). WORLD REFLEXOLOGY WEEK 21ST-27TH SEPTEMBER Look out for this WRW/Autumn offer available from 21st September. This year’s theme is "Supporting The Whole You." I love this annual offer because it gives new, returning, and regular clients a chance to book at a reduced price while reviewing and refreshing treatment plans. What would you like support with this autumn? Sleep support, boosting energy levels, or stress relief? THERAPIST WELLBEING & SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS A quick update on my own health: I am currently on the waiting list for minor surgery to correct a parathyroid issue, which has been causing some recent joint pain and fatigue. The surgery could happen anytime between now and early next year. I will update you and adjust the diary as soon as I have a firm date. In the meantime, treatments will continue as normal, with just a few minor tweaks to ensure I can keep providing you with the highest level of care, attention, and relaxation: - maximum treatment length: capped at 60 minutes per session* - spaced appointments: I’ll be offering the same number of weekly slots (Tuesday–Friday), but spread out to allow for rest between sessions. This means slightly less flexibility for booking times, so please book early where possible! - new relaxation packages: look out for new, ultra-relaxing combination treatments similar to the recent Spring Reset and Summer Pause. *If you have a 90 minute session already booked in, we can discuss options at your next appointment. Thank you so much for your ongoing support, kindness, and understanding over the past couple of months—it means the world to me. These changes are temporary, and I look forward to returning to normal after surgery and recovery. Happy September! Jo-Anne
