Swedish massage can be light to medium pressure, it is extremely calming and soothing. Specific massage movements include gentle slow effleurage, petrissage/kneading, vibration movements and tapotement/cupping. Deep tissue massage focuses on releasing restrictions of the deeper muscles, tendons and ligaments of the body. There may be some discomfort as slow and deep movements to release chronic muscle tension are applied. Trigger point therapy can be applied to ease areas of tightness, tension or referred pain. Indian head massage
Indian Head Massage is a soothing, relaxing treatment which works on massaging the upper back, shoulders, neck, arms, face and head. This releases tension in these areas whilst helping to rebalance and rejuvenate energy levels. |
