There is evidence to suggest that stress can affect conception levels. Cortisol, a hormone released in response to stress, can reduce the production of other hormones that are integral to the release of the egg and the implantation of embryo after fertilisation. Reflexology can help with naturally reducing stress levels as well as improving and maintaining general wellbeing. It is safe to have reflexology before you start trying for a baby, whilst trying to conceive, or during medical tests or treatments. Reflexology treatments, can be for both partners and will encourage deep relaxation, improve sleep patterns and reduce stress.
